Should be a long day tomorrow. buying 6k, 3k for me and two friends splitting the other 3k. weighing, loading then unloading should be a back fun time.
I'll post pics of the pile before we load.

Holy poop! One trip? 18-wheeler?
And yeah, what did it cost? And how did you land that deal?

At least 6k pounds doesn't take that much space. I picked up 1k #'s and I was a bit let down at the volume. My truck was still just about empty.

I hope that you back is just fine the next day. You won't need to hit the gym.

well just got back home. The lino came right out of the print shop in wilkes barre, pa. it was a famly run business and they are selling off the machinery. it was very interesting how things were done and it was nice of the two brothers to all too us. I missed out on their smelter, sold for $400. a steal for a water cooled 4 ingot machine that i'm sure would make short work of melting down range scrap and wheel weight.
i'll be selling some of mine to help recover some of the cost. you'll see it in the classified section.

Wow! Sort of reminds me of when I was a kid..a buddy's dad was in the welding supply business..he "hired" us to unload a truck of welding rod...I couldn't understand why it was only a couple of layers of small boxes thick on the floor until we started lifting those small flat boxes..never worked that hard in my life.

Wheaties get soggy quick when you pour your beer over them, but it's the favorite breakfast of a friend of mine. Maybe that's why he looks so much like Gollum.
