There are several sites around the internet that you can visit that gives historical references of an event that happend on the current date in a previous year. While visiting a couple of those sites this morning, here are a couple of events that were noted.
On this day in 1884 it is recorded that the first picture of a Tornado, was photographed near Howard, South Dakota.
Also on this date in 1830 the first Steam Locomotive built in America made a trial run from Baltimore to Ellicot Mills Maryland.
