Need 30 cal mold with 1.4 inch length. Who can make it? Most vendors only do shorter lengths.

There's a whole lot more info required. There's probably something out there that's pretty close. I know the NOE Blackout 247gr .30 cal are pretty long.

Accurate Molds can do up to 1.375", that's pretty close.

surely not for 300 BO, if it were that long AND fit in an AR mag it would take up a good bit of boiler room in that case.

Suggestion, take a Lee 170 gr Fn(as cast 177gr) center it in a mill or press, drill to 1.4". Grid the drill bit to the nose shape you like, this would make a very heavy 30cal. If it didn't work out you are only out $20 and you had the fun of a new project to talk about.

And Bolt actions that can accomidate longer lengths, in fact I'm thinking about adding a 300BO barrel to my Savage to go along with the 300 BO AR's in the family. I've drunk the cool-aid, I'm on board, just curious as to your intentions with such a mold.

The Sierra 240 grain MatchKing is 1.590" long and 300 BLK has no trouble launching that to optimal subsonic speeds.

Even the everyday Sierra 220 is 1.483" long.

The NOE 311-247 is 1.335" long.

Correct however they have profiles that have proven to be un workable as a cast boolit. Long ogives do not normally make for accurate cast boolits.
