Is there an equivalent way to measure Pyrodex and use it in my Inline ???
I saw somewhere once that 1cc = 10 grains measured, So 7cc would be 70 gr.

Well, back to the age old confusion of BP equivalence. :(

Pyrodex charges are measured by volume that is based on weight of blackpowder. 4 CCs of FF blackpowder weighs about 63 grains.

Or if you prefer, an empty 45-70 case filled to the top, holds about 78.5 gr of FF blackpowder.

Divide the volume in cc by .068. So 4 / .068 = 58.8 grs FF equivalent.

Would that conversion be for ye Olde Eyns', Goex, Goex cartridge, Swiss, KIK, Wano, Elephant, Meteor, etc? and at what manufacturers granulation? :):)

Turns out I just happened to have a 4 cc measure, an empty 45-70 case, powder scale along with some Wano FF blackpowder handy. Those weights were measured as I was posting the response.

What measure/load have you been using?
Pyro RS or P?

What tools/drill bits do you have available to you?

What load of Pyrodex are you wanting to measure . . . P or RS??

For what it's worth. 380 case holds 15gr of Pyrodex, 357 holds 30gr.

FlyYes . . . maybe. It works for me with Pyro P. The .068 figure comes from Richard Lee in his loading manual.
