7.62x51 Garand

A friend has one of these. He want to have me help him with some cast loads for it. Anyone have any experience with one of these? I have a few molds I could use. 311299, Rcbs 200 SIL, Lee 155 2-r, Lee200 2-r

BruceB has a sticky above about cast loads in the 7.62x51 M1A above, and I'll bet anything that works with the one will work in the other.

That was what I was thinking. But the gas port on the Garand is at the muzzle and the M1A is is back a ways. Was not sure about the pressure difference of the two.

This is one that came from the CMP that was a Navy issue one.
