Here is a simple poll if you know your screen resolution on your monitor. This will help me to optimize the webpages for easier viewing. You can find this if your Right click your computers desktop and click properties (or screen resolution).

voted 1680x1050 as that's what my screen is, but that's an OLD (not so) wide LCD. Both of my newer (but smaller)LCD screens are 1440x 900

These are excellent for me. Keep them coming guys.. I think the last time I asked this question was many years ago and the resolutions were either 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768. This is great news.

1366 X 768, capable of higher resolution but reading anything on those settings is difficult due to the smaller print size.

I voted "other" simply because I access this forum on many devices - a 15" HP laptop (home), a brand new huge Win7 all-in-one (work), an iPhone and iPad (mobile), and various lab PCs scattered around the University. And I have no idea about the resolution on ANY of them, whatever is displayed is about as fine as I can see comfortably.

The biggest improvement in monitors was the elimination of the CRT display - you can get a lot of display area w/o a lot of weight nowadays.

Just got a new monitor due to a power surge. Running @ 1920 x 1080, but I may back it down due to character size.

I am computer challenged and can't find the answer but there is a sticker on my monitor that says "Maximum resolution 1280 X 1024". I guess I am there or somewhere lower. My answer was Don't Know.

I use multiple resolutions depending where I'm at. But 99% of the time I'm on tapatalk! :D
But excellent polling on what people are running. I like the fact you want to optimize the site per resolution
