I have a Hollywood 12 stage press, made by Universal. It takes standard dies. It probably weighs 30 pounds. It is about 14" high from the table to the 12 stage die plate. It is in very good condition. How much do you think it is worth. I read on the internet that you can still get parts for them.

Send it my way for proper disposal, in accordance with all state and federal laws...

Sweetpea does not have proper federal licenses, I do. 8-)

Sorry, can't help with value.

More than I can afford! You mention it takes regular dies. Does it also have a couple oversize holes for the shotgun dies?

Thanks guys if not helpfull your at least funny. skeettx mentioned one on ebay but it has no bids yet with 8 days left for the auction, but he wants $500 starting bid I am thinking more like $300. + Shipping.
Wayne!! No holes for shotgun all twelve holes are standard die threads.

Don't underprice yourself. The one on e-Bay has eight days to go. He is likely to get more than his price. Especially since it's been posted here! If you really only want $300 there will be guys lining up three and four deep here without you even posting it in Swapping and Selling.

I have seen those presses go for $800 to $1500 with all the dies. The gear that goes with it makes a big difference.

I wood think $ 375 and you eat shipping is more like it as a plain jane. I am looking for one at that price. LOL.

Yeah, I'd be looking for one at that price, too, if I thought there was any hope of reality in it.

In the stuff that I got with it I found 8 more die sets, making a total of 11 die sets, there were 3 sets in the press, and 7 more shell holders. I don't know what caliber the shell holders are for but I'm pretty sure that they are for some of the dies I have. "The price is going up". I'm going to post it in the (for sell) section here.

I did sell it. That heavy bugger was a real challenge to box up. I had to make a cradle for it then build the cradle into a box afair that would fit into cardboard box I bought. Thank heavens for nail guns. The thing fits very snuggly into the box, it weighs with all the accortments it weighed 80 pounds and cost $83.00 to ship UPS.
