seems like bottom pour has a lot going for it....

I'm looking at two...

a Lee 4-20, on sale for $58

or

Lee 10# production pot for $40

is it worth the extra $18 for the 4-20?

I expect to be a pretty small time caster.....couple hundered every other month.

Get one of each!

I use my 10 pounders for small lots of rifle boolits....

If you can only get one, then get the 20 pounder. It has a better valve system since it is vertical, rather than at an angle like the 10 pounder. That makes it easier to flux and also can be used for dipper casting if desired.

Go with the 20, it is realy only a 16 anyway.

If you want to be set up right get a 20 lb bottom pour and a 20 lb ladle pot that you can feed the bottom pour pot with.
