Got my first NOE mold today, one of the 80 gr .260 Ranch Dog. Swede had a 2banger in stock, 1 pb 1 gc cavity. Should work great with my 256 Winchester in a 10" contender. Hope to get casting this week. Beautiful mold! Tim:mrgreen::-D

NOE makes some pretty molds. And they cast some pretty boolits too! Congrats on the buy! 8-)

I have two NOE molds, both brass. Absolute works of art. Almost too pretty to pour lead into.....almost!

have al's 135 gr for my 9 mm and bought a blank from him and had 380 bullet (4hole) turned in to it. Its mak nose, no lube rings @ 108gr and stained with hi-tek. Shot a bunch of em. Just like a lil' berry's after running it thru star sizer. Al always answeres the phone, thats my favorite stuff for bizz!

I use that boolit for my 25x39 and have started playing with the 250 sav with same.

So far the 25x39 is coyote good and the 250 shows some promise out to 100 yards.

They are gas checked and using H322 powder.

The 80gr 260 is my 4th NOE mold and they are all things of beauty and they all cast very well even the little 62gr 22cal. I will be using the 80gr 260 in both my 25/20 and a 14" tc in 256win.

Just an update on my NOE, first casting session I had lots of rejects, about 70%. I think it will improve with more use. I cleaned the mold with Dawn and a toothbrush and very hot water, dried the mold off and lubed the pins and sprue plate, warmed it top of the drip-o-matic and started casting with pot at 700 then went up to 725. Any suggestions would be welcome. Tim

Thanks Swede, I will give it a try and report back. This is not a complaint about the mold which is beautiful but merely my initial experience and the learning curve that goes with any mold. Tim
