the flat top bullet is favored by the nssa shooters as a stake cutter.it is the completion where the team cuts a board or wood stake in half. some of the gamesmen us .69 muskets other load the bullet backwards hopping to tear out more of the wood with each shot.

The stake buster might have been made by Challenger. They made molds in the 80's (I think) and I have one for .50 Minie ball. I see them from time to time on evilbay.
