It measures .288 I have looked for commercial cast boolits at .289 and have not found any. I would like to shoot before I commit to buying a mold. Any ideas?

That's what I did, to get a .287" boolit.

NOE has a group buy that is just finishing (ready to go to the machine) for a 7mm mold that can be purchased in a .288" version. I suggest you hop on the buy for that one.

Just picked up a new Chilean, Loewe built. It slugs .287, and I got in on the
tail end of the custom mold the NOE is doing - Loverin 150 gr at .286 or .288,
your choice. Should be perfect for this rifle and a few other 7x57s that I
have.

I got in on the NOE group buy, too. This will be my first custom mould.

The aforementioned beagled mould is a bore rider, and it will be interesting to which is the most accurate.

I'd bet on the Loverin - well, actually I HAVE bet on the Loverin! I order the mold.

I've numerous moulds of Loverin design or style, and all of them are excellent shooters. The Loverin style is the reason I ordered this particular mould.
