View Full Version : Epoxy coating bullets, what's your method?

Hey guys here's my process using 2 part epoxy
1. Paint the bullets, then let them dry .
2. Tump the bullets over to paint the tail end of the bullet, let dry.
3. Putting them in a toaster oven at 225 degrees for 20 min... Is that long enough?
4. Then I wax then, but not seeing the benefit.

so, where do you get the 2 part epoxy, im going to try the hi teck coating, but ill give it a try with the epoxy paint. there is a guy on youtube that has been doing it for a while, so coule be worth a try.

I'm going to try 1:1:1 color/hardner/thinner mixture from Klass Kote using this method with the HBN:

Sherwin Williams . Im also trying a powder coat tonight, with some luck, but the bullets are sticking to the pan bad

good to know, I have one of them near me, I also replied to you in the powder coat thread about fixing the sticky bullets problem.
