I coated 100 93 gr dead soft lead boolits , loaded them in 7.62x25 cases with 11gr of WC820 almost max so be careful. Shot them in my CZ52 simi auto pistol, two coatings one load. The first was 50 rds with two coats of HFPC yellow, average speed was 1740fps, then 50 rounds one coat of HFPC white almost same speed 1725FPS avg. these are bare base boolits so no gas cks. involved. took the gun down after each 50 no leading no resudue so all was well.
Came home and cleaned here are some pictures of the patches.
Now the accuracy I was standing and that is a effort fo a old man with a very bad back so take that into consideration. Shots were shot from 12/15 yds. Hope this helps someone who is thinking about coating there boolits with the Piglet method.

"...no residue"

Nice results on the range and better yet, no residue.

Another from another Forum. It isn't as complicated as some try to make it, I had no problem with the HF coating dissolving in the acetone. The coverage was good even with the first coat. Don't let some complicated descriptions scare you.and I didn't have to wait on it to be delivered just went to HF $5.87 a # four colors red, white, yellow, and black.
I used a water bottle that had a handle on it (plastic) put two 50 cal round balls in, put one tablespoon of powder in, then four tablespoons acetone, then swirled around till dissolved, then put 200 boolits in a swiffer pad container and added the paint. Then shook till all was covered then when almost all liquid was gone dumped on screen. Shook til separated and almost dry then put into the toaster oven at 400 deg. for 20 min, then after cool I sized them.
