I need info on the sight settrings or ranges and how they were set up, for the military pistols with long range sights. The pistols that I know of are the broomhandle mauser, the Belgian browning 1935 and, I think, the artillery model lugers. Help!!
Thanks;

I would think any of the collectors books or websites would have this information.

Post the question to the NRA staff. I am sure they have all that info.

I've got a Browning and a Broomhandle, but your question is fairly non-specific. What exactly are you asking?

They are set up with a hinge pin at the front and a curved base. You push a button on the slide, and slide the range-piece to the number of yards you want to shoot at and let it lock into teeth underneath the rear sight's leaf. That "sets" the sights for that range.

The numbers on the top can get comical... Will a 9mm even go 1200 meters??? :roll: :mrgreen:

I need something like "Adjustable from 100 to 1200 yards in 100 yard increments." or whatever is true.

Could you post that sight info for the broomhandle and browning, please?
