There I was, sitting on the backporch, minding my own business, when I get invaded!

Nice! I used to hunt in the Dismal Swamp quite often when I lived in Virginia. It's a really unique ecosystem there

I have a doe with twins hanging around my place by the barn and apple trees. Shes really a small doe to have had twins. Two nights ago we probably saw 100 deer around the place with about 15% being bucks in velvet. All the bucks were small, cull bucks as I call them. Only one was a borderline keeper. Hope the big guys are still here hiding out.

Great pics! Thanks for sharing!
I checked my game camera this past weekend. It is on a game trail near my blind. There were 44 deer pics in 5 days, but only 12 were bucks. Some may have been the same buck, but at least there were a couple of good racks. Can hardly wait!

You haven't been invaded. If they were browsing on the shrubs and flowers next to the house, Yes.
Oh, you are watering the beans too much. ;)

He is NOT watering the beans. The swamp does that for him.:bigsmyl2:

With all the rain we've had I'm really surprised the beans aren't taller than they are!
The deer sure love them.

They're so cute when they have spots on them. We have an early muzzle loader season here in September and one of the things I love about it is I usually get to get very close to young fawns and can even talk to them sometimes just to see the curious reaction. They're a lot of fun.

I'll give the fawn a 9.5 in style points. Pretty good form.
