While I am not a paper patcher yet, I need to know if anyone has used the Rooster Jacket paper lube that Midway sells. I'm thinking of using it to lube my SG slugs before I load them, and possibly patching the Lee Key Drive slug to bring the diameter up without modifying the mould. Thanks. CB.

Tried it once...no better and no worse than anything else. Seems like most anything workes on paper patches.

Midway carries it, but more than likely doesn't have it. Rooster seems to have temporarily stopped production of it. It's been real scarce for the last year.

They should have it now. I got some about a month ago.

Buffalo Arms has it in stock.

As for using it - I like it and do my 45-70's. Friend of mine is patching a naked with 4 wraps lubed with RJ. Shot after shot - pure confetti and 1.5MOA with the rifle and iron sights
