anyone shoot cast in a t/c 30-30 or remington xp-100 7mm-08 ?
if so what boolits shoot best and what powders?
condom bullets costing me both arms and half a leg !!!!!!!

Lyman 311291 with 30 gr 3031 1800 fps should give you 1in groups at 50 yds.

I have gotten 1-1.5" at 100 yds in a Win 94 open sights with
Lyman 311041 sized .310" over 29.0 Big Game. Note that I can
rarely get this good a group with J-word bullets in the same
rifle.

I don't know your range expectations, but a general, quiet varmint removal load for me has been the Lee 170 grain RNFP gas check boolit over 10 grains Unique. My Marlin 336 will print 10 of these in about an inch and a half at 50 yards with a peep sight. Velocity is right at 1500fps from the rifle barrel. In my case, lube doesn't seem to matter...they all shoot well. Contrary to logic, all these loads are not oversized, but are sized to .308" and they shoot well in 3 Marlins and a Vanguard 308.
