Im pretty sure this is right , but will a .30 cal mold work for a .300 blackout AAC? I'm wanting to pour some 150 gr and 125's and found a few on EBay .
Thanks
I'm new to this site, and what a wonderful source of information here.

There's not a simple answer to this one. What gun do you intend to cast for? .300blk will accept many ".30 cal" bullets. Some guns may or may not chamber different designs. My Palmetto State Armory .300blk upper runs great with the Lee 312-155-2R. They market it for the 7.62x39, but it sizes down just fine. I've sized mine to .309 and .310 with no hint of leading in my upper with water dropped alloy.

I've tried some other .30 cal designs, like the Accurate 170gr that my dad uses in his .30-06, and the flat nose doesn't feed in my upper. The NOE 247 does feed just fine in my gun.

Thank You very much 2wheel. This will be shot in an AR15 platform in the 300 AAC blackout.

Check this group buy here by heavy metal moulds:http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?206520-HM%B2-30-31-cal-160gr-6-CAV-Ed-Harris-Design

It should work well for the 300 blk, and that is what many of us are primarily buying it for. the .312 version, sized to .310 is what my plans are. I have two additional HM2 moulds and they are excellent.

I got a RCBS 130 gr SP from a member here that looks like it will
work fine in my 300 Blk

does anyone make a brass version of the Lee TL309-230-5R in 4 cavity?

There are better designs, the lee 230 with a boat tail isn't really the brightest idea. Tom at accurate molds will make you a brass mold you'll be impressed to own.

I'm in talks with Tom right now to make a brass mold of his #31-235L. Would you think that round would be a good subsonic hog killer?
