Flat base 30 cal. mold

Is there a mid weight 30 cal. mold (150gr or more) avail. from the major companies?I have been doing 90% of my shooting at lower vel. and with non GC boolits anyways and with good success with some loads at 100 yds but want to try if a FB design will help out for better accuracy. Or would I be better off just buying a Lee mold and have someone ream the GC part of the base?

Gas checks always have helped a tad for accuracy for me. For about two cents per I like them. I reamed a .44 cal sw mold and got about double size groups, same load same gun.
Need to know what gun.

I think RCBS makes some PB rifle designs in their Cowboy Action line. There may also be a GB going on a 30 cal PB design. Might look through the GB threads.

NEI will cut any of thier GC designs w/o the check shank. They have a chart on thier site that shows the weight change. Just call em, tellem what ya want and bataboom batabing is a beautifull thing. I have even had them reduce some of thier designs by the check shank and a driving band.

Try the RCBS 30-150-CM. It's about a 151 grain PB and shoots well in my .30/30 with Reloader 7. My fall back mould when GCs are gone./beagle
