I picked up a very nice Ideal 310 in this caliber today at the show. Mainly for the steel handles. They are totally complete, even has the shell adaptor and the reciept for $15.75 from 1954.
I can't use them however because the dies are much larger than any others I have.
Isnt' Swagerman our resident 310 expert?
Now what do I do?

You might run that by Floodgate, he has more Ideal/Lyman info than anyone. What caliber did you need them for? Most of the steelies I've seen have a caliber designation stamped on the side of the handles. Seems to me there is a web-site just for 310 tools also.

Catshooter:
That's a real nice set; the .50-110. .348 Win. and 8mm Lebel 310 sets were tapped for the oversize 11/16" x 30 tpi dies (vs. the standard 5/8" x 30) needed for those fat cases. Are the handles stamped "LS" or "SPL"? Those markings were used with the late pre-1957 steel handles with the screw-in adapter and the wear-plate on the inner knuckle that bears on the case head. Look for a PM
