Any reason why I couldn't use my expander die for 38/357 mag in the place of an Mdie for .357 Herrett?

Just curious. Hate to buy things if I don't have to.

Lee, buy the shorter M die in whatever caliber you need, but extra expander plugs to use in it.

That is the best solution I have found. I think one of our members makes plugs and of course, Lyman does

Buckshot will make you one to your chosen dimensions.

If your expander die for the 38/357 works ok for that application it should be ok for the Herrett.
