Does anyone know of a source for semi-inletted stocks for the BC or Handi rifles. Nothing too expensive, but upgraded wood.

RABB, the Handi rifle has a cheap hardwood stock, but the Buffalo Classic has a walnut stock. If your not pleased with the BC stock you might just try reshaping the wood a bit. At the very least you can get rid of the glossy finish on the wood...Ray

Thanks guys.
I'm not sure what I want to do. I looked at a BC and was very disappointed in the stock finish. I could get a BC and redo the stock or get a barrel and another stock and convert an existing Handi rifle into a BC.

If you check out the H&R site they sell replacement stocks. Here is a link 4U:

The prices are very cheap in my opinion. $38 for the stock and $15 for the forend. I'm sure you can't beat that price.
