If there is someone on the forum that has a sewing machine and would like a pattern for a very nice shooting related item. It is a pouch for carrying .22 ammo while hunting. I have one that I made that was copied from a very old one that belonged to a friend. I have never seen another or anything quite like it. It is a very nice, very practical item I would appreciate a PM from anyone interested.

I would be interested in seeing a picture of the product and pattern.

I think a whole bunch of us would like to see it.
And after seeing it, if a leather worker would like to offer a price, I think a number of us would like to see that too.

Try contacting DUKE NUKEM. He does nice professional quality leather work. I know there are a couple other holster makers and such here, just don't have their names at the tips of my fingers at the moment.

Pictures, pictures, pictures! It doesn't exists unless we see pictures, even then some of us think everything is photoshopped!

The deal is I want whomever to make me one for the pattern. Who is interested now?

I would consider it, but wouldn't commit to it sight unseen. It would really depend on what the article was, its innovation, and complexity.

OK, here are the photos. The pouch is 4 1/4 inches wide and opened is 9 inches long. It will hold a full box of .22 long rifle ammo. The pouch itself is made of buckskin. when worn on the belt and snapped open the bottom falls open allowing easy access to the rounds. When closing, because the buckskin extends above the fold there is no chance of spilling the ammo. You can easily tell I am no expert with leather so lets see who will come through with a nicely made one for me.

As a special incentive I'll supply the leather for two. One for you and one for me.

after cutting the pattern, you can use a hand awl and hand stitch the bag together using what ever strong thread or line to hold, just sayin
