1. It's nice and straight. 2. It's been there for a while. 3. It looks kind of lonely, no fence or gate attached to it. 4. Might be cedar.

Nice post.

I will point out this post is mounted in one of Sundog's portable post holes. Notice the nice fit? Custom!

What? Why is this the first we hear of portable post holes? Waksupi, you need to stop holding out on us with information like this. You must be a democrat......

I can not help it if Corky is a poor marketer. Although I do recall he was having a sale of a full semi load for a very good price. I believe they were recycled oil well shafts.

Google 'post turtle' and you'll have some ideas on what kind to put on this post.

The best fitting post holes I am familiar with are those grown from seed.

Who wants to come over and make some empty post holes for me? Don't worry about bringing your own post as I have plenty of them, I just need the holes in the right place. JW

I tried collecting post holes once. Not as easy as it sounds, they're a lot like people; some too deep, some too shallow, some too big, some too little and then there's some that are almost perfect...just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Was it sized with a Lee or Star? Which lube was used in installation? I need some horizontal post holes to put PVC pipe in the ground, for my ammo & powder storage, under my shed with a cinder block floor.
