The twelve year old I've been teaching to reload and cast turned 13 Monday. His Mom and Dad got him the Lee Classic Cast Turret kit from Titan Reloading. I gave him an 88 Commission Rifle that is a 110 years older than he is. He shot up the 50 rounds I had loaded for it with 323471's and 4227 so he has those 50 cases. He and his grandma have been looking for brass without much luck yet. I know he lurks on Cast Boolits.
If we have to we'll form the 8's from 06 but I always prefer correctly head stamped brass.
Anyone flush with 8x57 brass they no longer need?
After mowing down several steel discs from a rest at 80 yards he stood up and took a glance at my friend Mick and I and then smacked a 6" disc offhand. The grin was all of six inches also.
