I finally picked up a Henry 22 lever action the H001 or plain adult model.

I think the folks putting together the remlins could learn a few things from Henry as far as fit and finish goes. I paid 291.50 with tax and so far it has been worth every penny of it. Its a very nice looking and shooting rifle.

.

I've owned/shot/hunted with both the H001 Standard & the H001T Octagon Frontier, but soon sold the Frontier.

The H001 Standard's been my favorite for the past 8 years - although I mounted a minimal peep sight on mine. (A $25 Williams WM-96)

I preferred the Standard over the Frontier due to it's lighter weight & apparent greater handiness.

I will have to look into the peep, I have one on my 45-70 and like it, might be a nice addition to the 22 as well.

I have a Henry 22 as well and it's a well finished (inside and out) slick action rifle. My Dad also has one and a 44 Henry too, all of which are excellent rifles.
