Can this be used in a standard, plastic, vibratory tumbler?

SS media is much denser than the brass casings. Therefore, in a vibratory tumbler, the SS media will not allow the brass to tumble, and the brass wii simply remain on top of the SS media. A rotary tumbler with a water medium is needed for use with SS media.

You can get one for cheap at harbor freight. make sure you buy the 2 year warranty.
