A friend of mine sent me this link. It looks like a pretty good deal, especially if you live remotely.

Good deal. Around here, helicopter rescue started to get injured loggers out of remote areas. My neighbor has two helicopters, and has done a lot of this. We have an excellent air ambulance service here.

I think it is $85 a year for both ground and air ambulance service here.....dale

I always worry about the financial stability of those outfits. I've read about them going bankrupt and leaving the subscribers with no service and no recourse.

Could be, but I think it's a fine $50 gamble to cover the entire family. If you need a helicopter rescue, you'll need it regardless if they're legit or still in biz.
