Today I made a trade for a Lakefield Savage model 954LS. I did some research and see it was built in Canada by Lakefield but branded as a Savage. It is in excelent condition, looks like it was built yesterday. I had no money in the item I traded, so I concider it to be free. It came with a nice leather sling and a Tasco 3x9x40 scope with Weaver mounts. I would like to find out just how old it is. The s.n. starts with L17xxx. I also would like to find a couple of magazines for it. I plan to let my grandkids use it in the upcoming Apple Seed shoot the first week in Sept.
