I use udder cream with the BP rounds it addition to the grease groove lube, the reason I use it is to keep the fouling soft and I have never used it as the sole boolit lube.

Therefore not sure how it would work as a sole boolit lube.

Why not try it and let us know.

Bullet nose - the "front" end of the bullet (projectile). The pointy (sometimes) end of the bullet. The end opposite where the gas check goes on. The end of the bullet opposite the end that gets pushed into the CARTRIDGE case. See also cartridge nose.

I put bullet nose gentlemen as I didn't want anyone to think I used in in the grease grooves
Will try it and report back when I am back from my holidays and at the range

Shot today using 17gn unique with a lee 500gn .460 soft lead bullet in a martini mk 4 at 110 yds
All grouped around 3 1/2 inches open sights ( need a Ross sight)
Barrel suffered no leaded at all and clean as a whistle....I only use c2r to clean my barrels and they are spotless......udderly smooth on the bullets were the only lubricant used

Thanks for the report, good to know, how many rounds did you shoot?

Have you ever tried C2R on a leaded barrel?

I only shoot 15 rounds at a time and this is the first time I've used c2r on just a leaded barrel so will report back on findings
Chap using a sharps tried some underly and his shots went in the 10 ring with cheap east European bp as Swiss is getting thin on the ground

I don't use C2R on any seasoned lead shooting barrels as I find it cleans far too well and the barrel needs to be re-shot in.

I have been meaning to experiment with a diluted solution 25/75 C2R to water to see how that would work on lead shooting barrels but haven't got round to it yet.

I am curious to see how it performs on a leaded barrel, I haven't had any of them in a long time so have nothing to try it on.

Udder cream is an excellent BP lube, I wonder how it would work on higher velocity say 30 calibre bullets just as a nose dip lube?

I have 3 x 30 cal rifles so I will give it a go
