a friend just gave these two pistols to me one is a S&W model ? caliber is ?
has 1880 on it. the other one is a H&R Yong America double action
32 S&W CTGE is it worth it to try and fix them up 77336773377733877339

The S&W is most likely a .38 (that's .38 S&W not .38 special BTW) and looks to be in decent shape. I don't know the value off the top of my head, but if it times properly, the old guns can be a lot of fun to shoot with light loads.

The H&R young america in .32 probably has a bored through cylinder (at least, my 2 do, along with every other one I've seen in person) and as a result, accuracy generally leaves something to be desired, but it will likely be good enough for shooting soup cans at 5 or 10 paces. Probably the best thing I do with mine is load a single .313" round ball over 1.2 grains of TG or bullseye in a .32 long case (which will chamber, but be careful!) and shoot soda and soup cans.

yes its a S&W 1880 38 DA pocket revolver 2nd model
where can i find some parts for this the cylinder does not
stop and and the hammer won't cock all the time i would
like to get this old girl up and running
