ruger frontier jam

I have a ruger frontier in 358...
shooting with the Saeca 250 gr bullet I got a few jam ... square tip of the bullet hanging on the side of the chamber.....
would it be good to round up this part of the chamber like the model 70 winchester cone breach and if so I could I go about doing this ....

Take a look at the breech end of a Mauser barrel. There is a slight taper from the "collar" to the chamber and a radius at the chamber. If you can, pull the barrel and chuck it in a lathe, wont take long and it will fix the problem. Just put a witness mark on the bottom of the barrel so replacement is easy and the barrel goes back to it's original position.
