I am doing 2 AR builds and was going to use them for my uppers. I need a 7.62x39 upper and 223 upper. I was just getting ready to put in my credit card number and thought I should ask if any of you have dealt with this company. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

They're a decent company to deal with. But I suggest you call them first. I recently did a A3 upper build in 300 AAC Blk. Was originally going to order from Model1, and decided to call first. They told me if I ordered that day, it would be up to 6 months before I would get my upper. Yes, you read that right "Months" not weeks.

Do some research, and check around. There are some sites that may have items ready. Check out Marks Armory. They did have most items in stock at the time I did my orders.

I thought about them before I got mine. Google earthed their address to a house in the country side. I assumed they are an assembler/shipper.

Don't use a CC unless you want your info spread around. They have had problems in the past and would not take actions to correct it. I and about 1000 other people over on AR15.com got taken. It took almost 2 years before they went to another CC processor. Pay with a MO or Check.

Ok, then another theme on this subject . . .

Who to supply a complete 20-24 "223 1:7, 1:8 flat top upper and lower kit?

Someone that will likely come up with ordered items in a reasonable time frame

They told me a 8-10 month wait for an upper after I placed the order. While their prices looked great they don't seem to have product available. I emailed them to cancel the order.

Call'em first.
