I am. I've been seeing these go for nearly $1000 in this condition, so I snapped it up pretty quick. I'm hoping this will make its way to Richard Fletcher or Jim Garthwaite some day soon.

Jim is not taking anything in until after January. I hate waiting......but he's worth it!

Does that mean it's a 6 month waiting list, or is it a six month waiting list to get on a 2 year waiting list?

Unfortunately, I think the latter. I haven't been able to get a direct answer. He's been putting so much focus on his gunsmithing classes, that it's been taking away from shop time. He doesn't want to be in a position in which he has dozens on customer's guns. I'm going to follow up with him in September.

It seems like so many of these great gunsmiths are not taking new orders. It makes me think I better get something major done with one of the rising stars like Richard Fletcher before he only deals with repeat customers. I am a repeat customer of Roy Fishpaw and can get a set of grips made pretty much any time I want, which is not very often with his prices, but it sure is nice to have started buying grips from him 10 years ago. I understand he doesn't take new customers, at least that's what I heard.
