Winchester 1892 25-20

Thursday visited a small gun shop in Westerville, Ohio. I try to visit a couple of times each year as I often find some pleasant surprises. This time there were 2 Winchester 1892 rifles in 25-20. Both appear to have excellent bores (a 1905 rifle with 24 inch barrel and a 1929 SRC). My wife quickly reminded me that I already have 2 1892s in 25-20. Remind her she has more than 2 pairs of shoes. Nahhh never worked for me either ! Of course you could always sell the investment idea to her, which is true. I have a Win. 92 and an old Marlin 94 both with cherry bores and in great condition. I enjoy them more as I shoot them and realize that few of us get to use our investments like we do and they go up in value while we do. NOW, get up and get back down to the store and get them 2 rifles before some undeserving single guy buys them.
