Mec. adjustment from 2 3/4" to 3" mag.

Hey fellas:
Do any of you have a fast and easy way to adjust the Mec 600 from 2 3/4" to the 3" mag? I don't have the
instruction book to my press. I would appreciate a crash course, or a site that shows the change on video.

On my MEC all I do is take the bolt out of the back and raise the unit to the threads just under that and I'm all done.

That sounds way too easy. Now that you mention it, there is another hole to change the height.

You can go to the Lee website and download or print out the instruction manual for your particular press also.

OOPS must of had cast boolits on the brain on that brain fart. I suppose the MEC site would be more appropriate for what you were asking.

I think you have to size and deprime set at 2.75 and then the you finish the rest of the stages at 3".

Yes khmer6, one does have to size, deprime, and reprime with the press set for 2.75 hulls.
