I just bought one and wonder if I paid too much? Anyone know what this o/u shotgun is worth? I didn't know where to post this as there is not a shotgun area per se.

I would go to www.trapshooters.com and post the question there. You'll get answers fast.

Also good to post pics it helps narrow exactly what you've got.

I'd expect it to be in $2000 range as long as the condition is perfect or nearly so. When you get into nice shotguns condition has to be nearly perfect or it affects the value greatly.

The new Silver Pigeon 28's are right at $1850-$2000 depending on who is selling it. The 686 Onyx is an older model but as long as it looks new and has not been shot a lot it will hold it's value.

Berettas o/u's are good shotguns, and the 28's and .410's are a joy to shoot.

Thanks W.R. This has all the accessories including the hard case and 5 chokes. It is in brand new 100% condition. A beautiful shotgun. I found some more prices and see that it sells for approx. 1800-2000 so I am pleased with what I got it for.

If you got it for less than $1800 you scored big. These guns are a great investment. They don't go down in value unless they are mistreated.

28ga is a very desirable ga. and will help the gun maintain it's value. We see lots of them showing up at Skeet shoots. You will have to get setup to reload for it if you plan to shoot it much. Like .410's, 28's are in the $11-14 range per box.

Just take care of it and keep it in the case when not in use.

Like I said, check out Trapshooters.com. It is a great place to talk all things shotgun and rifle and pistol and the people there are pretty much the same as here. Very friendly place with a small dose of BS just for fun. Ok to ask questions about anything because someone will certainly answer.
