Has anyone encountered H5013? I have not found it on any burn rate charts.


How about Norma 204? Any experience with that?

H5013 that's one I've never heard of or seen referenced, I think an email to Hodgdons may be worth a try, maybe?

I haven't used 204, mostly due to price. It's very near IMR4350 ( which i'm looking for) on the burn rate charts. It's tempting to try if I could find some local. I don't have the nerve / $$ to mail order a bunch and take the chance my rifle doesn't like it.

Thanks for the intel on the Norma 204. There's a can, cheap at one of the local stores and, for me, slow powders seem to be the flavor of the day. Next time I'm down there I'll pick it up. Thanks again.

Yea, sounds like a mongrel powder, shadygrady's mix or maybe a mix of H5010 and Vectan's SP13, both cannon powder, but cast bullet friendly.
