Powder and Primers

I finally found some. A very small, well hidden LGS in Henderson, NV has a good selection, and supply of both powder and primers. They were not priced TOO high, $90 for 1k SP primers and 2 lbs of powder ($30 each). I would like to have paid less, but I got my loader in March, and haven't used it yet, due to lack of supplies.

$30/K for domestic primers is going to be pretty much the new norm going forward IMO. I doubt we ever see them back to even $25/K. You can't devalue the US $$ as much as it has been & expect to pay less for most anything. Just me, I would have bought 5K, they don't go bad. I am still reloading using primers I paid $21/K for (CCI) just a few years ago.

Buy it when you find it nowadays. I just picked up 12k of various cci primers a couple weeks ago. About the same price here. $30-34/k.

Atleast you can load some now and enjoy shooting what you make yourself.
