Contender extractor

Anyone know where a fella can get an extractor for a Contender in 223?

I just got the barrel and somehow my dumb^££ broke the extractor when putting it on. I didn't see anything and it went together smooth but the break is clean and fresh so I know I did it. Can't find one on line anywhere.

Danggit man! I just got the thing and ain't even got to shoot it yet.

I called T/C but its like talking to a light pole. The lady finally found what she thought was the right part but its $40 plus shipping. Ouch! Really?

wow, I'm sorry about that.

In the meantime though, if you HAVE to shoot it, there's always a brass rod down the muzzle to extract, or a screw driver to pry the case out. At least that gets you shooting while waiting for the right part!

Ask to talk to a tech, they will probably send the part out no charge. I got a set of locking bolts for my Encore and 3 springs for my Contenders recently. I even tried to pay and they said no.
