looking for a easy BP recipe for a newbe for reloads.

just bought a stoger side by side and a lee load all 2 and looking to do my own reloads in smokeless and black powder. would like to know what I should buy and what recipe for a light load black powder and smokeless. any help would be nice.

The parameters for using paper patched bullets are somewhat different when comparing black powder and smokeless loads.
Do you plan to patch to bore, or to groove?

Newbe, I take it you refer to a Stoeger shotgun and that you are looking for shotgun BP loads? This being the BP paper patching forum, your request may cause some confusion .

Be aware that black powder has some substantially different handling requirements than smokeless powder and that your Lee Load All may not be suited for BP. I don't load BP shotgun so I can't offer more but suggest you will get more productive answers in the appropriate forum. Also, I recall there is a good deal of data available for loading BP in the Magtech brass hulls.
