Made a few bullets from my latest die. Simply reformed a Sierra 85 grain prohunter 243 bullet in my 8s ogive with a flat base. Turned out pretty darn good I think.
Here you can see a bunch of the reformed bullets next to one of the original Sierra bullets.

L to R, Sierra 85 grain pro hunter, reswaged in my 8s ogive .243 die and a 80 grain .243 with the 8s ogive made from cut 17 HMR brass. I could have formed the tip a bit more on the brass jacketed bullet but the core was custom made for a 6s ogive so with the 8s the lead was at the top already and made for a bit shorter and slightly wider nose meplat.

L to R, 85 grain Sierra, reswaged 85 grain Sierra, Custom 8s 80 grain from 17hmr, custom 80 grain 6s from 17hmr and a 6s 56 grain 224 from 22lr.

Some day I'll get to dial in a good load for these new 8s 6mms. I was able to make the 6s 80 grain from brass shoot very well from my 6mmbr

More to come. So busy with work, not much time to have fun with new bullets and calibers.
Good shooting and swage on!
