Lead Addiction ?

Even though I have probably 2000 pounds of lead ingots.. whenever I see a post here lead for sale I have to open it and am compelled to buy more.

What is wrong with me? :D

Lead poisoning comes from a stack falling over on your foot. Well, at least the air is toxic for a couple of sentences.

A bad night, but a great haul! At least at my Wal-mart! Come to think of it, I probably should have left the cop car alone. But I didn't reallize that they were in it until it was too late. The weights probably would have been zinc anyway, being a government vehicle and all. :veryconfu

My Lead stash is just like money in the bank! Like most good and valuable things, more is better. Enough said.

I know that I will be moving in a year. I have over 2,000 lbs, yet I can't stop myself from collecting more. I keep stopping by the tire store to pick up another bucket to sort. HELP- I'm a leadaholic.

I was testing my new pail full of sand boolit trap today and was distraught to see some of my precious 452 had passed right through. I even caught myself searching the range beyond for it.

That is stealing? I thought leaving them alone in a public place invoked the finders keepers clause as long as you do not damage the rim. (the occupied LEO vehicle gets the DA award-not Double Action)

Yeah got 10 more pounds of foundry type today, and a ~50 pound bucket of wheel weights that yielded 44 pounds of lead, 6 pounds Fe, and 4 oz zinc

I only have 1000 #'s and Im like you 00buck.... only difference is I cant afford to buy any more just yet, but in the next 60 days I will be trying to find another 1000 or 2000 #'s :bigsmyl2:

I am approaching 1000 pounds and purchase less Than half of that. I haven't paid over 45 cents a pound. Most of mine is range scrap I gather with my own hands at no cost other than time.

I get a SFRB full of zinc it is yours, I won't sweat $5 to mail it. Better than getting paid next to nothing for it from the local scrapyard

I'm at 1080 pounds and counting. Mining has its own rewards, as I count every ounce a victory over those who want to take lead away from us CB shooters. I say let me pollute my own brain with Pb rather than liberal garbage.

Every trip out of the house is a ruse to pass by a tire store first.

I saw a wheel weight while stopped at a red light. I pulled over and snagged it :D it was lead!!

The tire shops around here scrap their ww's now.. my "FREE" wheel weight days seem to be gone. I'm grateful for all the free weights I got over the years. The good ole days

What you have is a supernatural subconscious ability to discern that your current supply of useable boolit making materials it woofully inadequate.
