Ditto on the Crossbreed. Great guys to deal with. I have had mine for 3 years and love it. I didn't get the combat cut but did end up cutting it myself. I carry a Kahr CW9.

Greg Kramer Pro-Line leather. I've used his stuff exclusively for decades and it wears like iron. He uses horse hide only from the front chest area of the horse where the leather is the heartiest. His holsters are formed to the gun and there is no need for a thumbstrap, you can run and jump and roll and your gun will stay put. I also used the IWB holster and can attest that his stuff is the way to go. I also use his belts with his holsters. The Ruger SP101 is the same holster for the Charter Arms Bulldog .44 which I have worn for years.

I also recommend the Crossbreed holster. I have been using one for a while for my SP101 3 inch and it is very comfortable. You can save 10.00 dollars by making the combat cut yourself. I got mine in horse hide and could not be happier.................Terry

Simplyrugged.com for the sp101.

If you haven't checked n82 tactical out, they've got some pretty ingenious holsters.

+1 on the crossbreed holsters. I picked one up from MJD on ebay that is comfortable and light. I carry a 1911 so anything I can do to make it comfortable, and not add weight to an already heavy gun is a plus.

I carry my SP101 IWB @ 1 O'clock w/o any holster. It wears Hogue grips and simply stays put. I can't carry a J-frame the same way, but the SP101 and my particular shape, it works better than any holster I tried. Funny how guns carry so differently from one person to another, and from one gun to another. Gotta find the right combination.

Milt Sparks; does not get any better for professional leather. You will buy it once in an average lifetime. Mitch Rosen if you can't wait for the Sparks.
