Just got a New Lee 120gr TC Mold & can't seem to Find Load Data for that Bullet Weight.
My Standard Load for this Gun is 115gr XTP or Nosler HP over 6.8gr HS-6. With these I can put All 15 rounds into a Fist Size Group at 16 Paces (Approx. 38ft) Velocity Avg's at 1200fps & Functions Flawlessly.
I was thinking about Using HS-6 w/ Bullets Cast in the New Mold from 50/50 Linotype & WW. Starting at 6gr & Work up to 6.3 in 0.1gr Increments for 1000-1100fps.
Also Want to Try & work Down to 5.4gr to see How Low I can go & still have the Gun Cycle & Load Properly.
Any Advise/Ideas/Opinions/Thoughts/Suggestions would be Greatly Appreciated.
Thanx,

It would help to know the exact designation of your Lee mold?

The Mold is a Lee 356-120-TC Double Cavity #90239.
Also bought some Ramshot True Blue Powder to Try with it.
According to my Lee Manual 4.5gr of True Blue should do the Trick.

I use data from the Lyman 4th Ed. for Lyman 356402 with the Lee 356-120-TC. Both boolits have the same nominal weight and are truncated cone and both have the same length of bearing surface. I'm not familiar with True Blue and Lyman lists no data for it with 120 gr. It does show a Max load of HS-6 6.2 gr with 356401.

I like 4.3 grains of WW-231 or HP-38 for that boolit in 9mm.

Wish I could Get & would Like to Try Both W-231 & HP-38.
None to be Found Round Here [smilie=b:
Tried a Few "True Blue" Loads this evening. Started at 4.5 then 4.7 & 4.9 gr.
All 3 Very Accurate & Perfect Functioning But, At 4.9 I started getting some Light Leading w/ Some UnBurnt Powder & Lots of Soot in the Chamber & Feed Ramp Area. Think I'll Stick w/ the Start Load of 4.5gr RamShot True Blue.
Seems to be a Really Nice Shootin Load in my Gun.
Also Using Rem Brass & CCI Small Pistol Primers.
Tomorrow gonna Load up some HS-6 Loads, Starting at 5.4gr then 5.6 & 5.8gr.
Wanna see if they Shoot any Better or Worse w/ these Boolits.
I'll just have to see which has Less Muzzle Flash, Leading, Burns the Cleanest & Has Most of these Traits w/ Acceptable Accuracy.
May have got Lucky & found a Good Load for them on the First Try :Fire:

So far it looks like 5.4gr of HS-6 is the Winner Hands Down.
Burns Clean, Functions Perfectly, Light Leading & Very Accurate.
Still need to Play w/ the "True Blue" some more.
Really Like the way this Powder Loads & Meters.

PS: Has anyone Tried Lil' Gun in the 9mm?
