Nice groups. What is the rifling twist on that rifle, 1-12"? Time to go squirrel hunting, and go for head shots.

yes, the twist is 1-12
I am going to try the 16gr/2400 load at 100 yds next.

That is good load in the .30-30 also.

OK I tried these at 100 yds...
16 gr /2400.....I had a good group going but the las shot I know I pulled Left....otherwise I am satisfied
I upped the charge of 4895 to 31 gr...and had a good group going....but I really must have dropped my shoulder on a couple that went high...either that or something went seriously wrong in my reload....I think I will double check the case lengths and make sure the crip I am putting on is uniform
I noticed a lot of heat wave distortion in the scope/target as the barrel heated up
I am going to stick with these loads they both seem to work well at 100yds...

atr,
How deep are you seating that boolit? I have had really nice results with the 284/210 in a Spanish Mauser in 308 but -by jimminy- I don't shoot groups like those:shock:[smilie=p:. Isn't that a dime? What is your rifle?
