Took delivery today of a Swiss Rubin K11, It is in pretty decent shape (This is my first one), Had my LGD who is my FFL guy just go over it to see if it was safe to shoot, Took it to a range to try it out. **** it is accurate right out of the box. The only issue is the bakelite bolt pull back handle, It has a pretty good chunk of it missing. Are there any or what are my options for a suitable replacement ?

Thanks

Take a look under the butt plate, there is usually a note with the issued person name, the Swiss took those rifles home with them.

Take a look over at the Swiss rifle forum. There is some stickies that you can link up to find out what you need.

It's a little too blurry for me to read. I speak and understand German fairly well, and read some too. The Swiss speak and write German, mostly.

Based on what I'm able to read on your butt plate tag, the rifle belonged to a Richard von Wyl, who was probably born in 1907, served in the army medical corps in a transport column and was living in Kriens (a town near Lucerne in central Switzerland) at the time the K11 was given to him. Now one could search for information about this San Trsp Kol ??/23 or the whereabouts of the von Wyls from Kriens. Isn't it fascinating to learn about the live of an old gun?
