Are these furnaces available in the US now?

If so has any one got one and what do they think about them?

Hi,
If it's got Lyman on the front,I don't want it anyway! My RCBS Pro Melt is working fine for me!

Dromia - I've had one on back order from Brownell's since April - back then they 'estimated' August. I just popped off an email to see if they have any better estimates. If I hear back I'll post here. In the mean time, I'm using a PID from FROZONE with my NON-DRIPPING lee 4-20 and very happy. When (and if) I get the Lyman there will be two pots going so when I add to one the other will already be up to temp. Only fly in that ointment is the weight of the MiHecs - darn things are heavy but cast beautiful boolits...

I ordered mine Feb. 5 from optics planet and it is the same as Lyman they keep moving the date. I wonder if they are having a problem with them being reliable. I bought Lee 20lb with PID and I have 10lb Lee that works great it don't hold enough led for 400 to 565 gr 45-70 bullets I'm looking forward to trying the Lyman my self if they ever come in.

I am still waiting on mine! I ordered it when I decided to try casting. I broke down and ordered a Lee 20 pound pot to get started and have cast a couple hundred pounds of 9mm & 30-30 while waiting.

Might want to check who you ordered from. I ordered mine in April from Brownell's for $255.99. They now have it listed for $239 but still back ordered. They are changing my cost to the new lower cost. YMMV depending on where you ordered. If anyone knows of a better price I'm all ears.

I used to work for a guy like that - it was half price as long as he didn't have it in stock.

I got tired of waiting for it to materialize, so I bought a RCBS Pro Melt instead :)
