OK, I'm looking down the column of my new/old lubrisizer after removing the knurled top cap.

I see the top of a washer and protruding thru it, about 1/2" of the end of a 3/8" diameter rod that looks like it fits in the cupped end of rod in the top cap.

Am I supposed to see a spring, or is it under the washer?

I've looked at the drawing and it's not much help.

Inquiring minds....

Grasp the knurled cap in your left hand and back the pressure screw out as far as it will go with your right hand. Remove the handle from the end of the pressure screw. Stick the handle end of the pressure screw into the lube reservoir and thread it onto the rod you see sticking up through the washer. Wrap your hands below the knurled cap on the pressure screw and pull up AND DON"T HIT YOURSELF IN THE HEAD!!! The spring and the pressure cup are on the other end. ENJOY.

It will come out easier if you heat up the lube reservoir a little.

Thanks for the info...and you're right about the heater...I gotta go find my heat gun in the shop. Judging by the Progressive reloader I got with it, I'd bet this 'sizer hasn't been open in decades.
