I have a pile of 240 commercial swaged boolits. Not any experience with this type so my questions are:
1. Do I bell the case mouth just slightly to accept the slug?
2. Is a crimp required and if so am I correct in assuming that the crimp will be just above the edge of the jacket?

I intend to use these in moderate to moderate/high loading with either Unique or 2400
thanks

Yes, just enough flair so the bullet starts in the case, and crimp as you assumed. You're going to be putting a lot of that bullet in the case, so be cautious with your starting load.

I shot thousands of those years ago. Had the C&H Swage tool. Bought jackets from Herters and lead wire. It was fun. I made a cannelure tool (spelling from an old fart!) Don't know where it went over the years.
They shoot pretty good.
